Health is the cornerstone of human well-being, productivity, and sustainable development. At ZCCN, we recognize that access to quality health services, clean environments, and accurate health information is vital to building resilient communities and protecting the most vulnerable in our society.

The Health thematic area unites organizations that are passionate about improving health outcomes across Zambia through advocacy, community engagement, research, and service delivery. Together, our members work to address a wide range of health-related issues, including public health education, maternal and child health, nutrition, disease prevention, and mental wellness.

Members under this thematic area include:

Family Development Initiative (FDI) (Chair)
Vision Outreach Zambia (Co-Chair)
Levy Mwanawasa Medical University
TCCCAD
Women’s Life Wellness Foundation (WLWF)
Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
World Vision Zambia

ZCCN’s Health work is grounded in the principle that a healthy population is essential to achieving social and environmental justice. By investing in community health systems and empowering citizens with knowledge, we are helping shape a healthier and more equitable Zambia for all.
