Food security and sustainable livelihoods are at the heart of human dignity and national development. At ZCCN, we understand that ending hunger and poverty requires bold action that addresses not only production, but also access, equity, resilience, and ecological balance.

The Food Security and Livelihood thematic area brings together a diverse group of members working across Zambia to promote agroecology, nutrition, rural entrepreneurship, and resilient food systems. These organizations focus on empowering smallholder farmers, improving value chains, supporting gender responsive agriculture, and advocating for inclusive agricultural and food policies.
